I will be teaching a 'Weaving Outside the Lines' beading class at BeadFX in Toronto

Course outline: Students are encouraged to bring ideas, questions, and enthusiasm. You are encouraged to cast away any assumptions about what is expected when working with a bead loom.

Topics covered will include:

Creative bead choices for texture and embellishment. Seed beads are not the only option!
Incorporating fringes or edging directly into the weaving
How to thread the loom for button-holes or slit/open designs
Adding accent beads to the warp
How to incorporate 3D beaded components for emphasis

The class will be held on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017: 11:00pm - 4:00pm (with breaks).
