I will be teaching an Introduction to Silver Granulation 2 class at BeadFX in Toronto. This is a second introductory-level class for people who would rather make either a ring or earrings instead of a pendant. 'Introduction to Granulation' is not a prerequisite.

Day 1: Sunday, August 14, 2016 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Day 2: Sunday, August 21, 2016 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM

Course outline: In this class, students will learn the decorative metal technique of granulation to make either a pair of earrings or a ring. Students will learn how to form consistently sized balls of silver, and how to bend wire accurately into even, repeating shapes. Students will learn how to fuse metal, forming a secure bond between silver elements without the use of solder. Lastly, students will learn how to add a bezel-set cabochon gemstone accent to their work using a fine-silver bezel cup.
