I will be teaching an 'Intro to FYI Silver Metal Clay: Textures and Gemstones' class at BeadFX in Toronto

Course outline: FYI fine silver metal clay is a user-friendly (and inexpensive) alternative to Art Clay Silver. This class will focus on creating unique, fine jewellery in precious metal. Students will have the opportunity to create their own texture plates using a variety of techniques, including UV-Photopolymer and Scratch-foam. Students will also have the opportunity to set a synthetic gemstone in metal clay. Kiln firing methods as well as metal finishing techniques will be discussed.

The class will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm(with breaks).
